Aldi has submitted a planning application to open a 21,911 square-foot supermarket at Beckton Triangle Retail Park, potentially replacing the former Argos store, becoming the first Aldi in Newham.
The proposed site for the Aldi store is larger than the standard Aldi stores by around 2,000 square feet. Plans include creating extensions for warehousing, servicing in-store, and redesigning the store's entrance.
