Activision is implementing changes to reduce the file size of Call of Duty games, including separating Warzone from the default download, aimed at relieving storage concerns.
As part of Season 5 Reloaded on August 21st, players can choose to download Warzone separately, alongside the new user interface set to launch in mid-October.
Activision's update will optimize game files, allowing Black Ops 6 to be a smaller download compared to Modern Warfare III, though exact sizes aren't yet specified.
The recent updates also emphasize the use of texture streaming options, giving players control over their data usage when engaging with the Call of Duty franchise.
