Windows update breaks Linux dual boot - but there is a fix for some users
Briefly

Numerous Linux systems, including Ubuntu and Debian, are encountering significant errors following a Microsoft Windows update aimed at fixing a Secure Boot vulnerability.
The recent Microsoft update, intended to strengthen security, mistakenly affected dual-boot configurations with Linux, triggering self-check failures related to Secure Boot.
To remedy the issues caused by the update, users are advised to disable Secure Boot in the BIOS, modify SBAT policies, and then re-enable it.
This incident is not isolated; several vulnerabilities have been reported over the past year and a half, compromising the integrity of Secure Boot.
