"Chronosphere was built to scale for the data demands of the AI era from day one, which is why it is chosen by leading AI-native and born-in-the-cloud organizations,"
"And once we leverage AgentiX with Chronosphere, we will take observability from simple dashboards to real-time, agentic remediation. We are excited to not just enter this space, but to disrupt it."
"significant cost efficiencies"
Palo Alto Networks will acquire Chronosphere for $3.35 billion, with closing expected in the second half of fiscal 2026 pending customary conditions and regulatory approvals. Chronosphere, founded in 2019, provides an always-on observability platform designed to scale for AI-era data and large cloud volumes. The combined solution will pair Chronosphere with Palo Alto's Cortex AgentiX to enable autonomous, agentic remediation beyond passive monitoring. Telemetry pipeline capabilities and optimized data ingestion aim to make large-scale ingestion economically viable, deliver petabyte-scale visibility across security and observability data, and provide significant cost efficiencies for customers.
