"Work is being redesigned in real time - where it happens, how it happens, and what tools employees need to stay productive,"
"The moment you collapse the PC and keyboard into one object, you blur well-established asset tagging and classification boundaries,"
"IT inventories have historically treated keyboards as peripherals, often untracked or low value."
HP introduced the EliteBoard G1a, a keyboard chassis housing an AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processor with over 50 TOPS of neural processing, delivering desktop-class performance in a 12mm, 750-gram device. The unit connects to any display and functions as a standalone Copilot+ PC so employees can move full PC capabilities between office and home without a tower or notebook. HP positions the device for hybrid workers amid findings that only 44% of workers feel their technology fits their working style. The keyboard-PC form factor raises IT concerns about asset tagging, inventory tracking, deployment and security practices.
