This unit is linked to espionage and sabotage efforts and has been implicated in various operations to destabilize Western nations.
BfV emphasized the commitment to protect democratic values and said international partners are engaged in the fight against foreign interference and cyber threats, highlighting the current concerns about increased Russian cyber activities since the onset of the Ukraine invasion.
