Kaspersky will no longer be able to provide antivirus updates to U.S. customers due to the ban. Only a little over half pay for third-party antivirus protection, with Norton and McAfee leading at 52%.
A Security.org survey revealed 46% of Americans use third-party antivirus software, with 33 million households paying for it. Older Americans, especially those over 65, are more likely to subscribe to paid services.
