Cyberattacks against manufacturing sector increased 105% in H1 of 2024

The manufacturing industry has seen an increase in attacks, accounting for 41% of incidents in the first half of the year. This represents a 105% increase from 2023.
In Q1 of 2024, more than 8,967 CVE records were released, and an additional 13,400 were pending. Yet, 50% of the 10 highest trending vulnerabilities were from 2023. This suggests that organizations are not patching vulnerabilities at a sufficient pace.
LockBit remains the most active ransomware group and has been observed adjusting its tactics.
