Cyber luminary's neck injury accrues mammoth medical bill
Briefly

Marc Rogers, recovering from a broken neck and temporary quadriplegia, faced significant insurance delays for necessary MRI scans that worsened his condition.
Rogers detailed the severity of his situation: 'On the 31st, before the surgery could happen, my disc and vertebrae came apart. Overnight I lost all sensation, all mobility, and became quadriplegic.'
Following the successful surgery on New Year's Day, he explained the procedure: 'They fished out the pieces and filled the gap with a cage containing a bone graft... They decompressed the cord and bolted everything back together.'
