"Conde Nast does not care about the security of their users' data. It took us an entire month to convince them to fix the vulnerabilities (on) their website,"
"We will leak more of their users' data (40+ million) over the next few weeks. Enjoy!"
A criminal group named Lovely published subscriber contact data stolen from Conde Nast and warned of tens of millions more records to come. The group released 2.3 million Wired reader emails, names for 285,000 subscribers, 108,000 home addresses, and 32,000 phone numbers. Additional exposed fields included user IDs, display names, account creation and update timestamps, and in some cases last session dates and IP addresses, indicating potential live-account data. The files were posted to Limewire and Gofile.io. Security researchers confirmed matching compromised emails and linked the attack methods to infostealer malware such as RedLine and Racoon.
