Cato acquires AI security with Aim Security
"AI transformation will eclipse digital transformation as the main force that will shape enterprises over the next decade,"
"With the acquisition of Aim Security, we're turbo-charging our SASE platform with advanced AI security capabilities to secure our customers' journey into the new and exciting AI era."
Cato Networks completed its first acquisition by buying Aim Security to add AI-specific protections to its cloud-native SASE platform. The platform already secures all enterprise network flows and provides complete visibility into AI interactions, from users accessing AI apps to API-driven services. Aim Security’s technology addresses the complexity and unstructured nature of AI interactions by detecting and stopping threats, attacks, and risky data access. The combined offering extends prior XDR capabilities with AI-focused security and targets three scenarios: unmanaged public AI use, runtime protection and governance for private AI applications and agents, and broader AI-related enterprise risks.
