Quentin Tarantino, David Fincher, Brad Pitt teaming up for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood sequel: Report
Briefly

A sequel to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is being developed, with David Fincher directing, Quentin Tarantino writing, and Brad Pitt starring. The screenplay originated from Tarantino's aborted project, The Movie Critic. While Pitt's role as Cliff Booth is certain, the return of Leonardo DiCaprio's character is uncertain. This collaboration marks Fincher and Pitt's long-standing relationship since the 1995 film Se7en. Notably, this will be the first time in 30 years a Tarantino script is directed by someone else, emphasizing the special nature of this project for film enthusiasts.
This wouldn't be the first time a Tarantino script was directed by someone not named Quentin Tarantino - early on in his career, Tarantino worked on the films True Romance, Natural Born Killers, and From Dusk Till Dawn for directors Tony Scott, Oliver Stone, and Robert Rodriguez.
Fincher and Pitt, of course, have a long-standing relationship as collaborators, going back to 1995's Se7en. Fincher has stayed loyal to Netflix since 2017.
