Jackass Episodes Restored to Paramount+ in Original Form
All three seasons of Jackass were reuploaded to Paramount+ in their original form at the request of creator Johnny Knoxville and others involved in the stunt-and-hijinks show. The newly uploaded episodes were refreshed to reflect the original vision from when the franchise first launched 25 years ago. The television episodes had previously been re-edited, re-sequenced, and re-scored to the point of being unrecognizable, which Knoxville said he discovered while trying to watch them. Paramount restored the shows to how they initially aired. Seasons 1, 2, and 3 had been temporarily removed in 2025 to restore the episodes. Jackass originally aired on MTV from October 2000 to August 2001 and spawned multiple spinoffs and six feature films, with Jackass: Best and Last scheduled for June 26.
