Scarlett Johansson expressed her desire for retaliation against Michael Che after he made an inappropriate joke about her during a 'Saturday Night Live' segment. In an interview with Vanity Fair, she indicated that as Colin Jost's husband, she felt compelled to take action. Reflecting on the offensive nature of the joke, she described it as vulgar and unexpected, saying she was shocked by the joke's explicitness, especially when a Costco photo was used. Johansson humorously recounted the intensity of her on-stage reveal.
"I feel like it's almost my responsibility to come up with some way to burn Michael back," she told Vanity Fair, signaling her desire for revenge.
"It was so vulgar. I just can't believe that they went there. I was like - it was so gross. It was really gross, old-school gross," Johansson commented on the joke.
"I mean, it's a vagina joke, how bad could it be? And then as soon as the Costco photo came up, I was like 'No! No, Michael!'" Johansson shared her surprise.
"The fact that it took on a full 'To Catch a Predator'-style reveal or whatever, that was so intense," Johansson joked about her shocked reaction.
