John Mulaney Will Become the First Comedian to Headline Wrigley Field
"John Mulaney: Mister Whatever,"
"Take Me Out to the Ballgame,"
"This is a real 35,000-seat venue, and look - if Mark Grace could come out there every day and just deliver, ripping cigarettes, I can face down this crowd too. I'm so excited for it."
John Mulaney will perform a homecoming show at Chicago's Wrigley Field on July 11, 2026, marking the first time a standup comedian will headline the ballpark. The Wrigley performance is an extension of the ongoing John Mulaney: Mister Whatever tour and currently stands as one of his only 2026 dates, with two January shows scheduled in Aspen. Presale tickets will be available through the MLB Cubs website. Mulaney announced the show during the seventh inning of a Cubs vs. Mets game after leading the stadium with "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." The tour continues with numerous 2025–2026 dates across major U.S. cities.
