Stanford, UCSD med schools investigated for race bias in admissions

The Trump administration has initiated an investigation into potential race-based discrimination in medical school admissions at the University of California, San Diego, Stanford University, and Ohio State University. The Department of Justice has requested seven years of applicant data, internal communications regarding diversity, and correspondence with pharmaceutical companies related to admissions policies. The universities have been given until April 24 to comply with these requests. UC San Diego has confirmed receipt of the investigation notice and is currently reviewing it.
