Students enroll through their home high school counselor."
"New courses this term include an AI engineering course and a pre-apprenticeship in metals technology. Students in the former course will design intelligent systems, apply Python coding and use machine learning to solve real-world challenges. Students enrolled in the metals technology course will have access to a newly approved Field Ironworkers Pre-Apprenticeship program, authorized by the California Division of Apprenticeship Standards."
"In honor of Black History Month, San José City College Theater is hosting the Liberation Lens Film Festival on Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. Festival co-founder Dr. Robert Mossi Alexander says Liberation Lens is intended as "a vehicle for political education, healing and community-driven liberation." Featured films include: "Glass Ceilings," which follows singer/songwriter Martha Coryne as she navigates barriers to her music career; "Reclaiming Our Humanity," a documentary about formerly incarcerated Black men who found healing, purpose and success through education and community."
