According to the Lumina Foundation's recent 'A Stronger Nation' data, credential attainment among U.S. adults aged 25 to 64 has risen to 54.9% in 2023, marking an increase from previous years. The foundation aims for 60% attainment by 2025. Analysis reveals that 14.5% of adults hold graduate degrees, while racial disparities exist, with credential rates of 67.1% among Asian adults and only 36.1% among Black adults. Nonetheless, there have been improvements in Black and Hispanic attainment since 2009, suggesting progress despite ongoing challenges.
