Meet the Leytonstone tech whizz taking an A-level equivalent at only 14
Briefly

Leytonstone School's Nian Beckles has embarked on an extended project qualification after impressively earning a GCSE grade nine in computer science at just 13. Studying independently, he was encouraged by his family to take the exam early, which has ignited a passion for further tech exploration. Currently in year 10, Nian’s EPQ showcases his independent research skills. His mother proudly notes his talent in technology, crediting early exposure through tech events and hackathons as pivotal in developing his abilities.
"He's not one to blow his own trumpet and I'm not sure he realised how good his result really was. Not only was it a nine but it was a really good nine."
"The EPQ shows that he is an independent thinker and has developed research, problem solving and critical thinking."
