Emails show Summers maintained a friendly exchange with Jeffrey Epstein after Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting prostitution from a minor. Summers' wife emailed Epstein and thanked him for arranging financial support for a poetry project. After the emails surfaced, Summers went on leave from Harvard and lost multiple affiliations.
