Yet Another Study Links Acne Creams to Cancer

In a new study, researchers analyzed over 100 benzoyl peroxide acne products and discovered that approximately one-third contained dangerously high levels of benzene, a known carcinogen.
The findings revealed that Proactiv and a CVS-brand face wash were among the worst offenders, containing benzene levels 18 and 13 times higher than what the FDA deems safe, respectively.
