Briefly

Mila Rampola, a peer support worker at Bay Area Community Health, has turned her struggles with substance use disorder into a career, helping others find hope.
Rampola said, "What BACH helped me realize was that, this negative place I was in it doesn't have to stay that way. I can take life by the reins."
Development Director Lucy Hernandez emphasized, "We want to have a conversation about getting [underserved individuals] back into the healthcare system, bridging gaps for those delaying healthcare."
BACH served 65,900 people last year, focusing on underserved communities, including unhoused individuals and those who haven't seen a doctor in a long time.
