Dr. Zain Chagla noted that seasonal norovirus case counts are rising due to winter weather and the end of COVID-19 safety measures, indicating a return to normal patterns.
Currently, testing has not confirmed if the University of Guelph's outbreak is due to norovirus, but symptoms align with typical norovirus infections.
