Acton man dies of EEE; family questions state's announcing practices

The death of our resident from EEE is a tragedy, and our sincerest condolences go out to the family, friends and loved ones. The Town of Acton supports aggressive, proactive public communication regarding public health emergencies and infectious disease.
Why wasn't it being more publicized from the towns and from the state? Because if it had been, my father could be alive right now.
This year, state officials have recorded 96 EEE-positive mosquito samples, three horse cases, and four human cases.
