The developers of Helldivers 2 teased a potential crossover idea, possibly involving elements from Deep Rock Galactic or Warhammer 40K. A developer mentioned they're in the early stages of this new initiative on Discord. Meanwhile, players are engaged in an intense battle on the planet Fori Prime, where over a billion enemies called Terminids have been defeated, yet the liberation remains at 0%. There's anticipation for new equipment, particularly a chainsword, which could prove essential in upcoming missions against formidable foes.

We're in the very early stages of something new, but it could also be worth noting that... there was the outline of what looked very much like a Warhammer 40K-style chainsword.

The latest order has just over three days left on it, while over a billion Terminids have been slain, the planet of Fori Prime is currently still sitting at a big fat 0% liberation.
