Grindr has launched its new feature, Right Now, globally after successful testing. This functionality mimics social media feeds, allowing users to post text and photos that disappear after one hour. Unlike traditional profile browsing, Right Now enables users to specify their intentions, facilitating more direct connections. Initially, some areas will have complimentary hour-long sessions each week, with plans for additional paid sessions in the future. Grindr aims to streamline user interactions based on real-time desires and feedback from its community.
We built this intention-based feature based on feedback from our community so they can connect with like-minded people without wasting time on mismatched experiences.
Right Now functions a bit more like X / Twitter and displays a stream of recent posts that can include both text and photos.
