An interactive Ozzy Osbourne digital avatar is in production through Hyperreal, announced at Licensing Expo 2026. The project aims to capture Ozzy’s digital DNA, including voice, image, and movement. Jack Osbourne said the avatar is highly accurate and can be used for digital commercials by prompting desired actions and dropping the result into production. Hyperreal previously created a digitally de-aged Paul McCartney avatar for a 2021 collaborative music video and an interactive Stan Lee avatar for a 2025 comic convention. Sharon Osbourne said people can ask the avatar questions and receive answers in Ozzy’s own voice, with plans to bring the experience worldwide. The initiative follows similar avatar efforts by other music and entertainment figures.
"Jack Osbourne said the project embodies "the digital DNA of Ozzy Osbourne, voice, image [and] movement." He continued, "It's kind of scary how it's really very accurate. He will exist digitally as himself for as long as we have computers. Technology has come such a long way to where it's almost drag and drop. You could shoot a template for a commercial ... literally prompt what you want Digital Ozzy to do in that commercial and you just drop it in. It's that simple now.""
"Sharon Osbourne previously commented on the potential of such a project, including hologram concerts by the original Black Sabbath lineup. Sharon was also at the Licensing Expo, saying of the avatar, "You can ask Ozzy anything, and he will answer you in his own voice - and the answers will be what Ozzy would have said. We're going to take it all around the world. People can talk to him and he will talk back.""
"Earlier in the panel she said, "Elvis died 50 years ago, and everybody knows Elvis. I just want that for Ozzy." The digital avatar is one of many posthumous projects being explored by the Osbourne family, including a biopic focused on the love story of Ozzy and Sharon expect"
