ICON hand paints traditional cherokee symbol of 'safe flight' on one-off 1975 jeep restomod
Briefly

The 1975 Jeep Cherokee restomod from ICON 4×4, named 'Safe Flight', features a hand-painted eagle feather symbol to honor indigenous heritage and historical significance.
Jonathan Ward, founder of ICON 4×4, highlights that 'the symbol for Safe Flight historically protected tribe members embarking on dangerous journeys, making it fitting for this build.'
For this project, ICON 4×4 meticulously studied traditional Cherokee art forms and designs, revealing the meaningful connection of the eagle feather to their cultural identity.
The exterior showcases a custom Porsche Chalk finish, complemented by a Bentley black roof, with details like hard-trimmed aluminum components reflecting innovation on a classic vehicle.
