George Aye and Sara Cantor, founders of Greater Good Studio, initiated 'Angry Hour', a gathering to address and discuss feelings of despair and isolation in the wake of the Trump administration's impactful decisions. The event allows participants to connect, share their challenges and concerns without a structured agenda. Following a successful event in Chicago, they expanded to Brooklyn and plan to host gatherings in more cities, aiming to foster a sense of community and connection amidst social and political challenges.
As a culture, we've been moving towards less and less contact with other humans, and it's not healthy for me or anyone to be in isolation.
I think either that's a sign of how bad things are, or how much I think we might all need this.
