Warriors dig out of early hole to beat Nets, cap 4-1 trip
Briefly

The Warriors secured a narrow 121-119 victory against the Nets after a sluggish start that saw them fall behind by 22 points. Despite an uninspired first quarter, Golden State was able to rally for the win, bolstered by Steph Curry's explosive 40-point performance and contributions from Jimmy Butler and Gary Payton II. The victory wrapped up a successful 4-1 east coast road trip, keeping the Warriors competitive in a tightly contested Western Conference. Coach Kerr's preference for playing both New York teams proved somewhat vindicated, despite the challenges posed by Brooklyn's tenacious play.
The Warriors needed to scratch and claw to beat Tyrese Martin and the plucky Nets, surviving a near-collapse in the final minute.
It took another excellent Steph Curry performance... but the Warriors got it done, finishing their trip 4-1, with a 121-119 victory over Brooklyn.
Curry hit a night-night and seven 3-pointers, finishing with 40 points on 7-for-13 shooting from deep, while Butler added 25 points.
Some coaches don't like when their teams play both New York opponents in a week, but Steve Kerr prefers the setup after this experience.
