Dynasty: Oakland Tech wins fifth consecutive Oakland Section title behind late-game heroics from Ardarius Grayson
Briefly

Oakland Tech's Ardarius Grayson helped lead his team to a 66-60 victory over Oakland, securing the Oakland Section championship. Although Grayson struggled to score, finishing with 13 points, his overall contributions—passing, defense and leadership—were vital for the Bulldogs. This victory marked their eleventh meeting in three seasons, with Tech winning the majority. Coach Orlando Watkins praised Tech's game plan and execution, acknowledging their status as champions. The Bulldogs have shown strong dominance in this rivalry, winning seven straight encounters and demonstrating their capability heading into the state tournament.
Grayson finished with 13 points, his second consecutive game where he struggled to score. In the team's last meeting two weeks ago, he needed 23 shots to score 17 points.
Tech did what they were supposed to do, Oakland coach Orlando Watkins said. They're the champs, and they're the champs for a reason. They had a great game plan.
Wednesday marked the 11th game between Tech and Oakland in the last three seasons. The Bulldogs' 10 wins have been by an average score of 6.4 points per game.
We knew it was going to be a physical game, Tech coach Karega Hart said. We started slow. I wasn't very happy about the way we started.
