As Germany approaches its elections, major corporations are breaking their political neutrality and publicly opposing right-wing extremism and advocating for diversity. Industry leaders from Deutsche Bank, Mercedes-Benz, and Siemens have condemned xenophobia and expressed their support for values of tolerance and respect. This shift comes in reaction to the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party's increasing influence. Notably, over 30 companies have joined the 'We stand for values' alliance, aimed at fostering diversity and combating extremism, marking a significant change in corporate political engagement in Germany.
