DB will increase sprinter services, cutting travel time by about an hour between Stuttgart and Berlin (via Nuremberg) to around 4:45 hours and offering four daily fast Hamburg–Frankfurt runs of about 3:30 hours. Around 40 new or extended daily cross-border trips will link Germany with Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Poland, and Switzerland. Tickets can be purchased up to 12 months in advance, enabling cheaper early bookings.
