German police offered a 5,000 euros reward for information on an arson attack at a synagogue in Oldenburg. No one was hurt, but the incident caused nationwide shock and solidarity with the Jewish community.
Police called on the public to submit possible witness accounts through an online portal and hoped that photos or videos from security cameras could assist in identifying the perpetrator.
