Tekken Director Katsuhiro Harada Finally Found A Waffle House
A Tekken director finally visited a Waffle House after long-running requests to include a 3 a.m. Waffle House stage in the series. The request had been made with a mocked-up image of a Waffle House location for Tekken 8, asking for the stage to be added. The director previously asked for the basis of the request, including the original story, history, and background. Afterward, he posted that he made it to Waffle House, said the staff were always friendly, and reported buying a menu for $5. He joked about returning at 3 a.m. for fight time and shared photos, including one with a chair.
"“Ok, I will only ask once about this request,” he began. “Why do some communities send me requests for 'Waffle House'? And then, like he was setting an assignment, he continued, “Please be sure to explain the basis for the request, including the original story, history and background.”"
"“I finally made it to WAFFLE HOUSE.” He added, “The staff are always friendly, and when I asked if they would sell me a menu, they sold me one for $5.” He then joked, “Next time, I'll be back at 3 a.m. for fight time.”"
"“Next time, I'll be back at 3 a.m. for fight time.” This was accompanied by four photographs, including one where Harada wields a chair, ready for combat."
