Resident Evil Requiem's Final Puzzle Has Been Solved, Kinda
"It all started when Gengar Collects, a YouTuber, posted a video on their channel showing that they were able to get's Final Puzzle achievement seemingly by accident. To do this, they had to acquire the Marie's Doll item and have it in their inventory, which you can only do by filling up the meat-packing area with zombie bodies by waiting there for 15 minutes as it drops bodies into a vat."
"Once you put the doll in your storage box, it'll be available in your inventory in New Game+. Once you start this new playthrough, you must bring the doll and Emily, a blind girl you meet in the care center, to a locked safe in the lead researcher's office and input a code you find through actually solving the puzzle, at which point you'll hear a child laughing."
"This is the last step in solving Resident Evil Requiem's Final Puzzle and registers the challenge as completed, but because it was datamined, no one's quite sure what all the intended steps are to reach this conclusion in the first place. There must be some clue that tells you to wait for 15 minutes in the meat-packing plant, as well as to flush the toilet repeatedly."
Resident Evil Requiem features a complex Final Puzzle that has stumped players since launch. YouTuber Gengar Collects discovered a method to complete it by acquiring Marie's Doll through filling a meat-packing area with zombie bodies over 15 minutes, then flushing a toilet eight times. The doll appears after Grace escapes Rhodes Hill Care Center. Players must store the doll and access it in New Game+, then bring it and Emily to a locked safe in the lead researcher's office, inputting a discovered code to trigger child laughter and complete the achievement. However, the intended solution path remains unknown, as the discovered method relied on datamining rather than in-game clues.
