The mobile Epic Games Store has launched with free offerings such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and its sequel, available until March 20. These games, pivotal in the Star Wars RPG genre, have retained popularity for over two decades. Newly added third-party games are also part of Epic's strategy to expand its mobile presence and user accounts, which have increased to 898 million. Ongoing legal battles with Apple and Google reflect the challenges Epic faces in mobile market integration while they also address internal governance issues and emerging cheating allegations in Fortnite tournaments.
From now until March 20, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic II are available for free through the mobile Epic Games Store.
Epic is following in the footsteps of its PC store by trying to attract users with free games.
