"The Redmi Note 15 series has arrived to markets outside China a month or so earlier than the usual 12-month cycle Xiaomi uses. Still, according to Xiaomi, we can expect generational upgrades in more than one aspect. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is the first phone in the series that we'll review. But before we begin, we want to make it clear that the Chinese Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is not the same as the international model we are reviewing today."
"In fact, the global version feels like a toned-down version of its Chinese counterpart, which has a dedicated telephoto camera and a larger battery. Then again, the global unit gets a tad faster charging and a bigger 200MP main sensor. Back to the global Pro+, which is the subject of our review. Compared to the Redmi Note 14 Pro+, it brings a larger and brighter 6.83-inch display, a newer and more powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, a bigger battery and higher ingress protection."
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ ships internationally with a 6.83-inch, 120Hz AMOLED display with up to 3200 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The phone uses a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, Adreno 810 GPU, and offers 8GB–12GB RAM with UFS 2.2 storage options up to 512GB. The rear camera system centers on a 200MP f/1.7 main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide. The global model differs from the Chinese variant by lacking a telephoto camera and larger battery but offering faster charging. The device features Gorilla Glass Victus 2, IP68/IP69K ingress protection, and Android 15 with HyperOS 2.
