Xiaomi 15 Civi isn't coming, new report claims
Briefly

Xiaomi has canceled the development of the Xiaomi 15 Civi smartphone. The cancellation appears to stem from disappointing sales of the previous model, the Xiaomi 14 Civi, which is currently being heavily discounted. The Xiaomi 15 Civi was previously in active development, featuring advanced specifications such as a 6.55-inch "1.5K" resolution screen, an impressive Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, and Leica-branded cameras. Key features included a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultrawide, and a robust 6,000 mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.
The Xiaomi 15 Civi was in active development before it got the axe. It was to feature a 6.55-inch "1.5K" resolution screen with micro-curves on all four sides, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 3,200-nit peak brightness.
The Xiaomi 15 Civi has been canceled, reportedly due to lackluster sales of the 14 Civi, which is now heavily discounted.
Expected specifications for the Xiaomi 15 Civi included a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The Leica camera branding was set to return with a 50 MP main shooter, a 12 MP ultrawide, a 50 MP telephoto, and a 50 MP selfie snapper.
