Emirates will roll out Starlink internet across its wide-body fleet, starting 23 November, enabling free real-time streaming, video calls, gaming, work and social media at 40,000ft. The first of 232 Boeing 777s fitted with Starlink is due to enter service later this month, with installations accelerating at 14 aircraft per month. The carrier will debut a Starlink-enabled A380 in early 2026 and complete connectivity on all 232 777 and A380 aircraft by mid-2027. Each 777 will receive two antennae and each A380 three antennae to maximize coverage and capacity. Live TV will stream on personal devices from launch and on seatback screens from December 2025. No payment or special Skywards membership will be required.
