Laney Morello placed a space heater in her 18-month-old son Elio's room when the house got cold. Elio became fascinated with the heater's beeping sounds and appeared to call it "Jeff." He frequently drags the heater around, attempts to plug it in, and prefers having it nearby even when unplugged. The family enforces strict safety rules around the heater. During a family vacation Elio searched for Jeff daily and was very happy to reunite with it upon returning home. A video of the reunion went viral, and Elio's appliance circle now includes a dust buster, a robot vacuum, and a salad spinner.
