"It's an absolutely terrifying feeling that we don't want anyone to have ever again,"
"T-Mobile Text to 911 with T-Satellite gives peace of mind. It's there when you need it the most. And it's too important to keep gated. Now all wireless users with a compatible phone can sign up for T-Mobile Text to 911 for absolutely free."
"automatically defers"
T-Mobile is expanding its Starlink-based T-Satellite service to permit off-grid Text to 911 access for any wireless user with a compatible phone, including AT&T and Verizon subscribers. T-Satellite leverages Starlink's 650-plus low Earth orbit satellites to provide messaging, text-to-911, data, location services and other capabilities, switching immediately to satellite when towers are unavailable. T-Satellite is included on certain T-Mobile plans and can be added à la carte for $10 per month for other plans and non-T-Mobile customers. Text to 911 enrollment is available free to all compatible devices. The service defers to emergency services features on some iPhones.
