Google is testing a tinted brownish/grayish/yellowish background across the search results page. The white page background is replaced with a warm, muted tint and the gray result boxes render noticeably darker. Multiple screenshots of the visual variant were posted on X on November 4, 2025, and additional images circulated showing the effect in different views. The color shift can give the impression of monitor color problems. The experiment appears confined to a visual appearance test; the layout, content and functionality in the screenshots remain unchanged.
