"Google's been making a lot of changes over the past few years when it comes to Search. While the Google Search page used to be pretty barebones, we're now seeing the addition of more tools, like AI Mode. And within AI Mode, we've also seen plenty of new features pop up as well. So, it was only a matter of time before the Search page got even more changes, which we're now seeing with Google providing the option to add a touch of color."
"As far as color choices go, Google provides ten different colors to choose from. The colors are relatively muted, but varied, and when selected, the top section of the Google Search page changes with the new color choice. If you're looking to make this change on your laptop or desktop, it appears that the option is exclusive to larger-screen mobile devices for now, with 9to5Google finding the Color your Search option available on a tablet and foldable phone."
"If you want to give it a shot, head to your browser and see whether the color palette option is available in Google Search. You can find this on the left-hand side, located right next to the Google Search bar. Although this change is rather simple, there's always the chance that Google could expand customization options. One possibility would be to have the webpage change to automatically sync with the theming on your device."
Google is adding a 'Color your Search' option that lets users add muted color accents to the top area of the Search page. Ten color choices are available. The color change affects the top section of the Google Search page when selected. The option appears to be rolling out to larger-screen mobile devices such as tablets and foldable phones and is not yet available on laptops or desktops. The color palette control appears on the left-hand side next to the Google Search bar. Google may expand customization further, potentially enabling automatic theming sync with device Material You dynamic theming. Search has remained intentionally simple compared with other search engines.
