Google now lets you manage all of your old Nest Cams from the Home app

Google is now allowing users to manage Nest Cam IQ indoor and outdoor cameras directly through the Google Home app, which unifies the management of Nest cameras from earlier years.

With this update, users can review video history, access camera settings, and set up automations directly from the Home app without needing to switch between apps.

Users who are enrolled in Public Preview can easily transfer their Nest Cam IQ cameras back and forth between the Nest and Google Home apps as needed.

While many devices are now manageable via the Home app, the Nest Protect smoke detector and the Nest x Yale door lock remain exclusive to the Nest app.
