Google is adding voice editing to Google Docs through Docs Live. Users describe what they want to write, and an agent dictates words, generates additional text, pulls in citations from the web, and turns stream-of-consciousness requests into a coherent document. Google also plans an AI Ultra subscription tier for Gemini power users at $100 per month, and it lowers the price of its top Gemini AI Ultra from $250 to $200. Google announced Gemini Omni, an AI video generator designed to create realistic video by incorporating real footage and extrapolating additional AI effects. Omni can modify selfie videos by changing backgrounds, styles, and environments, and it can use images and video from a camera roll to produce cinematic variations. Omni focuses on video creation first, with still image and text capabilities planned later, and it aims to support any output with any input. OmniFlash is available for Google AI+ Pro and Ultra subscribers.
