Confirmed: Nintendo's Switch 2 can work with existing docks and webcams after replacing their firmware
Briefly

Nintendo Switch 2 initially faced compatibility issues with various USB-C accessories, including docks and webcams. Recent firmware updates from manufacturers have resolved these issues, enabling existing gadgets to function properly. Successful tests were conducted with the AverMedia Elite Go GC313 Pro, AverMedia Core Go GC313, Elgato Facecam MK.2, and Viture Pro Mobile Dock. Elgato confirmed that cameras need to advertise a 480p video mode for compatibility, which has now been implemented for the Facecam MK2, improving usability with the Switch 2.
Three manufacturers have already proven that firmware updates are enough for now, and hopefully more will follow!
The existing gadgets I just successfully tested are: the AverMedia Elite Go GC313 Pro, AverMedia Core Go GC313, Elgato Facecam MK.2, and Viture Pro Mobile Dock.
