The 9th generation, being the current one, has a bigger display with thinner bezels and a more efficient 5nm A14 Bionic chip.
All of Samsung's newest tablets are discounted for Black Friday. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE has a 10.9-inch 1440p 90Hz display, water resistance, and a 5nm Exynos 1380 chip for $400. The S9 FE+ adds a bigger 12.4-inch display and a bigger battery for $650. There's a $120 discount on the excellent OLED-equipped Galaxy Tab S9 and S9+.
