The Audio Technica earbuds demonstrate versatility across various music genres, particularly excelling in acoustic music. While they may struggle with certain tracks due to an overpowering bass, customized EQ settings can enhance the listening experience. The earbuds feature robust noise canceling capabilities, effectively blocking out ambient sounds. The accompanying app allows for software updates and offers features like a five-band EQ and a unique 'Soundscape' function for relaxation. Overall, they provide excellent sound quality, comfort, and battery life for a reasonable price point of $150.
It works better on some productions than others. I liked it on much acoustic music, but a recent version of 'Seventeen' by Sharon Van Etten with Norah Jones gets a bit too forward in the kick drum and bass.
Adjusting the EQ inside the associated Audio Technica Connect App to the Clear Vocal setting... worked well to solve this problem.
The noise canceling quality is actually very solid, especially for buds in this price range. It's nearly impossible to hear the clicks of my very bright-sounding mechanical keyboard.
As far as a pair of earbuds that sound decent, work awesome, and can take all that life throws at them... there is very little to dislike about these.
