The handle contains UV LEDs and doubles as a grip, arching over a placed phone to sterilize and charge simultaneously in about five minutes. Prototyping with foam, paper, and 3D printing refined scale and mechanism. Working mock-ups tested battery heat, mold iterations, hinges, snaps, and internal ribs to improve assembly reliability and minimize breakage risk.
